About the Cover
Cover: Researchers at North Carolina State University investigated the use of aerial color infrared photography for determining late-season N requirements for corn. Different levels of N applied at planting created a range of N requirements evident in the color photograph taken early in the growing season and in the aerial false color infrared photograph taken before tasseling. White "dots" in the latter are sampling areas where corn plants were removed.
