The overall curve was fitted to a negative exponential decay model: M = M0 e(–kX). Hybrids Pioneer 37M81, Maizex Leafy 4, and TMF94 were in common in all years while Max 86 used in 1999 and 2000 was replaced with N.K. Enerfeast I (non-Leafy silage corn) in 2001 and 2002.
