At the Helix site, date of sowing and sowing rate had significant (p < 0.01) effects on yield; at the Condon site, date of sowing and variety had significant effects. At the Lexington site, where only the first sowing date was harvested, both sowing rate and cultivar had significant effects. Bars represent ±1 SE and are calculated for individual sites because of the different number of harvests at each site.
