Regressions were: y = 5.97 + 0.055x, R2 = 0.98 for red clover (RCL); y = 1.15 + 0.295x - 0.000145x2, R2 = 1.00 for perennial ryegrass (PR); y = 1.28 + 0.142x - 0.000080x2, R2 = 0.98 for orchardgrass (OG); y = 1.26 + 0.017x, R2 = 0.94 for reed canarygrass (RCG); y = 0.31 + 0.069x, R2 = 0.97 for smooth bromegrass (SB); and y = 1.66 + 0.038x, R2 = 0.97 for timothy (Tim).
