Effect of Oil Treatment of Fertilizers on Crop Yields and Uptake of Fertilizer Constituents1

The addition of up to 5% of fuel oil to fertilizers to reduce dustiness and caking had little or no effect on yield and uptake of N, P and K by greenhouse grown oats. Similar results were obtained for field grown corn and for greenhouse and field grown tobacco.
