Shading Studies on Winter Wheat1

Synopsis: Sructures permitting intermittent periods of direct light and shade greatly reduced wheat grain yields. Yield reductions were correlated with amount of shade, iLight is very critical during the heading stage and even slight restrictions for short periods reduced yields.
