Synopsis: Yields were positively correlated (p = 0.01) with height, forage yield, population, heads per acre, head weight, seed moisture at harvest, bushel weight, weight of 100 seeds, and germination percentage; and negatively correlated (p = 0.01) with weed yields and lodging. Weed control treatments of tillage, hand-weeding, atrazine, and row spacings had a marked effect on characters constituting or influencing sorghum yields.
