Synopsis: Age of seed had a small effect on germination and on test weight in 1959. It had no significant effect on yield, on variety x age interaction for yield, or on test weight in 1960. There was a variety x age interaction for stand count in 1959 and for heading date in 1960 but not for test weight in either year. There was a small, but significant, difference in heading dates of the several ages of seed in 1960.
