Effects of Nitrogen and Phosphorus Fertilizers on the Yield of Irrigated Grain Sorghum in Southwestern Kansas1

Synopsis: Good grain yields were obtained with 40 to 80 pounds of nitrogen per acre. There was little yield response to phosphorus. Soil organic matter was not a reliable index to the need for nitrogenous fertilizer.
