Synopsis: The nicotine contents of the leaves of the last four primings (harvests) from mammoth selections of flue-cured tobacco were much lower than those of leaves of comparable stalk positions from standard varieties. There was little evidence of a marked dilution of reducing sugars in the cured leaves of the mammoth selections.
