Rock Phosphate and Superphosphate as Sources of Phosphorus and Calcium for Alfalfa1

Synopsis: In a greenhouse experiment, yields were increased by application of lime alone, superphosphate alone, and in some cases by rock phosphate alone. Lime was a better source of Ca for alfalfa than was rock phosphate.
