Performance of Inbred Lines, Polycross Progenies, and Synthetics of Tall Fescue Selected for Improved Palatability1

Synopsis: Generally, the polycross progenies and synthetics were significantly better grazed than commercial varieties, compared favorably with them in seedling vigor, and approached commercial and naturalized varieties in yield.
