Synopsis: Parental clones of Pilgrim Ladino clover differ in their seed producing ability. The relative amounts of seed produced by individual clones vary with harvest dates and areas of production. Pollen contributions of the individual clones also differ. If genetically uniform lots of breeders seed are to be produced, they must be produced under similar environmental conditions.
