Synopsis: Most rapid growth of Meyer zoysia was obtained when the soil pH approached a range between 6 and 7 and adequate amounts of a complete fertilizer were used. Response to nitrogen was more pronounced than to either phosphorus or potassium; however, phosphorus significantly increased top, stolon, and root growth. An optimum supply of potassium in combination with other fertilizer elements increased stolon development.
