The Effect of Season, Plant Maturity, and Height on the Tannin Content of Sericea Lespedeza, L. cuneata1

Synopsis: Tannin in sericea aftermaths increased as the season advanced. Tannin content increased concurrently with a rise in temperature and a decrease in rainfall. Tannin content increased with maturity. Plant height was not associated with tannin content.
