Principles of Nutrient Uptake From Fertilizer Bands: III. Band Volume, Concentration, and Nutrient Composition1

Synopsis: The volume of soil fertilized in greenhouse experiments had no effect on fertilizer uptake when ,phosphate was applied alone but caused significant differences when nitrogen was added to the fertilizer placement.
