Sypnosis: The undergraduate seminar in agronomy at the University of Maryland has been divided into two phases. One phase consists of individual presentations of current agronomic topics with liberal provisions for critical discussions and class analyses of the presentations. In the other portion of the seminar, career opportunities, including those associated with graduate work, have been discussed with representatives of industry, government, and the University.
