Oil and Protein Relationships between Inbred Lines and their Single Cross Progeny1

Sypnosis: Correlations between various inbred lines and their single cross progeny consistently indicated that very little dominance is expressed in the inheritance of either oil or protein percentage of the corn kernel. Slight dominance of both high-oil and high-protein percentage was indicated.
